Servitors

S E R V I T O R S

Divine servitors are primally based Life forms created for the benefit of a deity or the deity's church. By using primal base, a deity is able to take a willing mortal life and evolve it into a divine creation or servitor. Unlike artifacts, which are containers for primal base and require special knowledge to create, the life force or soul of a mortal is able to merge with the deity's primal base to form a servitor. For this reason, some deities elect to make servitors instead of artifacts.

Forming a servitor is not the same as creating a race; a servitor is incapable of reproduction. While they are alive, immortal, and divine, servitors cannot breed or bear new life. A servitor exists until it is destroyed in some way. Any additional powers and abilities a servitor may have depend on whims of the creator. Should the creating deity die without recalling the base from the servitor first, the servitor becomes independent. Which powers it retains depends on the circumstances.
